Takatsuki Isaki, the protagonist, fulfills her long-held dream of becoming a civil servant after intense studying. However, she ends up deeply hurt by dealing with malicious complainers. To heal her worn-out heart, she visits Anzu Valley, where she unexpectedly reunites with Fujiwara Arata, a classmate from her middle school days. Though his physique and facial features have changed so much that she barely recognizes him, she gradually starts to find him cute—especially when he blushes every time he sees her.
